Make a stunning difference in your wedding ceremony with a wonderful touch you and your guests will really remember!
At a moment you choose, a small verse is read by your celebrant explaining to the guests the meaning of your dove release.
The doves will usually circle above a few times before flying off together as a pair, which symbolizes the beginning of the newly-wed couple's journey in life together.
In a garden wedding the release can be done immediately after the wedding documents are signed. This is quite lovely as it keeps the release in harmony with the ceremony. You face the guests to release your doves which soar out above their heads.
At a Church wedding, your release is normally done as soon as you exit the church and the guests are assembled.
You may also have extra doves to release - picture your whole wedding party each holding and releasing a dove all at once! A lot of fun for all and makes fantastic photographs.
Please call or email for current fees along with the date, time and location.

Classic Ceremonial Wedding Doves
A
pair of white doves will be released from a basket at the feet of the bride
and groom or by someone in your wedding party. The doves will usually circle
above a few times before flying off together as a pair, which symbolises the
beginning of the newly-wed couple's journey in life together.
A script can read out by your choice of: your Wedding Celebrant or Priest, the
Bride or Groom, a family member or friend. This is to create a ceremonial atmosphere
for the Dove Release, and also to let the guests know the symbolism of the Release
- and just what it means to the Bride and Groom. Some or all of the wording
may be changed to suit your individual preference, and/or the number of Doves
being released. We will bring a copy of the reading to the wedding with us and
give it to the person of your choice, who we will organise to read it out at
the appropriate time.

Flock Releases - Includes the Classic Above.
At a time that you choose, white doves are placed at the feet of the bride and groom or at an area of your choosing. The doves surge out of the cage in a flurry of white feathers and soar skyward. As they leave the cage their wings clap together just like applause. The doves will usually circle the area a few times before setting off home, accompanied by the oohs and aahs of your guests.

Alternatively, the doves may be released by a flower-girl, page-boy, or bridesmaid... while the bride and groom are hand releasing two doves of their own. You can arrange any different combination, or have the doves released at a different point in the ceremony. Perhaps as the newly-weds are announced as husband and wife, the doves could be released from behind the registry table.
